I am almost done with 绿光森林, just a few more episodes to go! I really like this show though it is another typical 王子与公主 story. However, it is far more beautiful (scenes etc.) than 王子变青蛙. I have been watching so many 偶像剧 that i cannot tell which is better! I would recommend the following this holiday haHaha :

1 - 绿光森林
2 - 爱情魔发师
3 - 深情密码
4 - 王子变青蛙 (can watch again)
5 - 战神
6 - 最后之舞
7 - 恶作剧之吻
8 - 我们结婚吧 ! (coming on Ch54 i hope)

and perhaps 爱杀17 & 天国的嫁衣.. (i have watched a bit of them but wasn't very excited after that haha)

I am at episode 16 of 爱情魔发师. The show has taken a turn for the complicated. Somehow that disappoints me but i would still continue watching and hope for a better ending! I have not started 深情密码 as it is only Episode 2 as of this week. I feel like buying 最后之舞 but prices have not dipped. I think YouTube is a good source of entertainment during work (hahaHa). Anyway, watch 绿光森林 ppl!

Casts of 绿光: 阮经天, 言言 & 立威廉

I think 立威廉 does not belong to the 帅哥 category (especially when he is 30). He is just..too prince! His mandarin is so poor that it makes me laugh when watching but his ang-mo slang is beautiful. 阮经天 has the bad boy look. He is the knight in the show. He goes all out for his princess without asking for anything in return. It is a pity that eventually, the princess has to reunite with her prince & not the knight. I think 阮经天 is okay, not that handsome. Woo both guys are 1.80m at least!

The reason why tw dramas are successful is because the casts are so suave & pretty! Sgp shows are very 家庭化. And most sgp actors lack the appeal and youth. I can only think of 王田裁 when u ask me to name 帅哥s but he is like 超龄 already haha. Came across this article online that ranks top taiwanese actors:

I guess nobody can beat 仔仔 eventually. Then, i also realise that 仔仔, 贺军翔, 郑元畅 & 阮经天 are currently studying in the same school called 醒吾 (not sure if it's uni or wat). But i can imagine how fortunate the girls there are.

I sound like a crazy fan of 偶像s. Pls don't get me wrong. I really enjoy blogging about dramas & share my thoughts with you all! My blog isn't a diary or something & i like it to be filled with pictures + really meaningful events or quotes. Enjoy!

绿光森林 ... 我喜欢。

I was chatting to one of my bosses just now. It was an enlightening one. He told me about his experience of interviewing fresh graduates. At first sight, he could tell who were overseas and local graduates. Local graduates tend to conform and work through the safe way whereas overseas ones dare to think out of the box. Of course, he did turn round to say that both were as capable but at work, he does not wish to employ people to think the same way. One of the questions he posted to the interviewees was 'Do you know how many golf balls are there in Singapore?' It was a question without an answer as nobody knows anyway. What he was looking for was the process interviewees went through to obtain a conclusion. Out of the 5 fresh grads he interviewed, there were 4 who thought the same (and rather safe) way. The 5th person gave a different but not so logical reply. Despite that, he would choose the 5th one (at least) because he thinks outside the conventional way and is not influenced by others' opinions. He valued flexibility and those who dares to admit to their shortcomings at work.

What valuable advices!

I am getting lazier day by day. I enjoy those breaks that i get each week. However, they are coming to an end. My boss says we are back to full time in June due to some new projects. i feel like stopping work early! I do not want to be buried by books too soon. I want to enjoy. One month isn't sufficient. I am in need of clothes and more clothes and accessories and bags and..kbox! 我真的很爱唱! I wished i had a job where i can sing to audiences. Anyway.. I am not going anywhere far this holiday. Most probably 2 trips to msia with family and friends.
Hmm, internet connection is down at home due to change of plans. I will be going wireless next week. I hate to blog such topic. It is boring, i know.

I went to Metro Warehouse Sales at Expo on Thurs. I did not have the mood to shop due to some 'calls' regarding jobs. Well, i have decided to stay on at meridea till End-June if not Early-July since it's on shift basis. I'm getting quite comfortable with the arrangement as i can finally spend quality time with myself, my mum bro granny and my kitchen! I love to cook and..make a mess out of the kitchen haha (that's a lie). I love watching dramas on youtube and planning for my long awaited 'break'. Guess i can only do them at the expense of getting a full time job & earning more. I shall be a happy person before i work doubly hard for uni.

I asked myself if i really wanted that. When i received the parcel from moe, it did make my heart skip a bit and really ponder about 'what if i accepted the offer'. Months ago, i made up my mind that whatever the outcome was, i would not sign that bond. Fortunately, i was able maintain this stand till today. Despite attractive monetary benefits, i do not want to be in it forever and miss out the chance of challenging the corporate world. I feel that i am someone who prefers going through the hard way as i enjoy the satisfaction gained at the end of the day (if i were to succeed). I do not want the easy way out though handling stress is never my forte. Perhaps i am too ambitious but i guess it is just me . I do not want to give up the future i had planned long ago. Most of the people around me are quite supportive of my decision though it did disturb them a little initially. However, i hope they can understand as we have to look far in things and not indulge in present satisfaction. I guess my mum has to toil for another few more years before i can provide for her and pay off the debts we have accumulated over the years..hmm decade. Trust me, i will give you a luxurious life in 8 years time when i make my mark. jiayou!

Yes, as you all know i'm working on shifts starting this week for my suntec job. Hai, i'm quite unhappy about it as it spoils my plans for this holiday. Though my bro says i should take a break (since i starting workin so early) but i feel that i still can work for 1 more month and earn for my hostel and misc fees for uni. Hence, pls let me know if you all have job offers. Thanks! I'm still waiting for that NTUC Income job but Kellysvcs has not called me. Guess it's over..

Btw, i have chosen boonlay over bras besar and kent ridge. KR was the last choice for me. There was a bit of struggle between BL and BB as the latter proved too convenient for me. After 2 years of luxury (of walking to school), i realised how much distance matters. Well... this time, i've chosen bro/friends over distance. But not sure if i might change my mind.

Today is my first break this holiday. I spent my day watching Magicians of Love aka 爱情魔发师by 183 club and qiaoqiao (from sweety). It's quite a nice show i would say since it is my type of shows..those 浪漫型偶像剧. However i feel that 王子 is better in terms of plot. Though both share some similarities in storyline ( i got abit confused as mingdao and wang shaowei like the female lead together again) , 王子 is more catchy. Mingdao looks more suave in his role for 王子. I can't wait for Episode 13 to be screened this coming sat! Wondered why nice shows are only screened once a week over at taiwan. Oh my goss, my cravings for 偶像剧 is back though i am still into 最后之舞. ahha here is the list of upcoming tw drama !

Anyway i shall watch 爱情魔发师, 最后之舞 and 爱杀17 first. Then 爱上千金美媚，恶作剧之吻 ..... ha

Suddenly i am enjoying this break but not so soon please! New job pls come =)

sorry, i lost my cool today. How did i become like that? I need to reflect on that. And my income would be plunging soon. I cannot meet my target this holiday. I'm getting worried about my uni expenses, hostel fees etc. Sometimes, i cannot help but admire friends who have rich and happy families. They need not worry about such things at all. I wonder what bad things i did last life. Not that i'm in extreme poverty now but i really need a break from family and financial problems. Anyway, i have learnt to live with it. I must break free one day and i will. I do not have a family fortune. but i have my hands and determination.
