Saturday 25 Feb

I was at grandma's house. The koi specialist was there to monitor the salt and oxygen content of the pond. They installed a tap at the side in case of power failure. This ensures that there is sufficient oxygen for the kois when power is unavail. Then i went to my little aunty's house to catch the kois. (not me but the koi specialists). All i did was to scream when the kois were 'flying'. My aunt decided not to rear kois as her pond's drainage system was in bad shape and hence detrimental to the health of kois. We took about 1.5 hours to catch the 9 kois. I realised that kois are intelligent species from the way they tried to break free from catchers. Well in the end, the kois were safely transported to my grandma's house. I think they are having a great time in their new environment despite a tramatising experience during catching. Rearing kois requires lots of care, effort and interests. You need to monitor the salt and pH of the water daily. Make sure that water is circulating properly and drainage system is functioning ( may get stucked due to algae growth and trapped fish food). I was qt alarmed at how big a koi could grow up to. Singapore isnt suitable for rearing kois due to hot weather. Kois live up to 10 yrs in singapore and 70 yrs in Japan. Matured singapore kois are about 30cm in length while jap ones are double the former. Is this fish abuse? hahaz. And 1 good quality koi costs 100+ !!

Ok enOugh of fishy bussiness.
The results are finally out on wednesday! I was quite moody when i heard of it (on fri). However, after listening to my aunt's religious teachings, i feel that its something that we all have to face eventually and that was the only way to solve the problem. The truth may be hard to accept but life has to go on. In fact, embracing the truth allows us to emerge as braver people. We may not be the cream of the crop but when we are behind, we see a wider world. We learn mistakes made by ourselves and those left behind by the rest. This time, I've learnt to be prepared for the worst. haha not going to be like O levels. No more tears. I feel so ashamed of myself! I hope i can still maintain my composure when im at the hall.

haha so all the best to frens out there. take care =)

ahha forgot to add this. Met the zhiweis on chu-san. Totally created a din at tcc clarke quay. The food was ok. Just not value for money. Such a small portion for 10 bucks+. Well luckily food doesnt entice me too much. However i had great fun hanging out with them. buzzing here and there. Unfortunately, most of the crapping was about NS stuff where we ladies stare at 3 botak frens telling us (or talking among themselves) about their 'exciting' and 'eerie' experience on exile island. haha.. Well the best thing of the day was, we get christian names at the end of the day. haha. Well evelyn doesnt seem to be very unique but it's special! cos the zhiweis thot it for me. So u all can call me evelyn lol. haha. but seriously for fun only. I still like my 'huizhi'. blah

Hey! Today is godfather's house moving day. I got up early to help up with the packing and shifting. Moving house is a tedious process. My whole body is aching now. Anyway the new house is fantastic. I think the architect did a great job. Very unique, 'classic' & 'glassy' house. Good view. Good direction. Good Wind. Good interior design. It's simply a dream house! I love the roof top garden and plants that dot almost every corner of the house. Tired but happy day! Posted by Picasa

It is not a door. It is a lift! This lift is specially for my grandmother who has difficulty climbing stairs. It can only take up to 3 ppl. So tempting to not take the stairs! Posted by Picasa

It was a quiet new year. I was not very excited over it either. Just treated it as a break from tedious office work. However it was a great family gathering. It was only through my gdfather's funeral that i got to know them better. Realised that most of my cousins are shuaiges and good men! This is just part of the whole family.
And! i received red packets from 2 bosses. The 'big' and 'Smaller' ones. I was quite shocked that my 'snaller' boss gave us $20 each. Maybe im over reacting..haha cos other ppl get yr-end bonuses. we get mini-angbao. Posted by Picasa

My cousin, gdma and bro. I'm not very happy with my new yr clothes this yr. tt's why u don't see me. haha. Anyway i only bought a blouse.  Posted by Picasa
