Now that I have started work, I can gradually indulge in ...... Lol

I like skin products.

Have been using my Shiseido makeup and it works wonders! Love the glow it gives, even coverage and my skin still feels soft and 'clean' towards the end of the day. I guess I will top up my makeup kit with the Shiseido dual-balance foundation (oops~) cos I think the Revlon one will clog my pores somehow.. good thing that it is oil-free, feels smooth after application.. but somehow, the formula is kinda thick and eeeee.

What is the first thing I am going to buy after I get my first pay?

My Kose products HAHAHA. 3 hours of OT entitles me to 1 bottle. Yay~! Because I wear makeup to work, I feel that it is skin-damaging and it is my priority to protect it. I have been popping double dosages of vitamin Cs and a cup of omega milk everyday. I feel healthier somehow.

Oh ya I forgot about masks.... :p

I like bags.

But it is currently off my list because I don't need more. Probably get a "presentable" (don't be mistaken, it's not LV, that's extravagant) one after my first deloitte pay. And a Burberry after a year of audit madness? Depending on how value-for-money things come...

I like jewels.

I think my mum is going to buy something along that line for me next birthday. Probably a pair of earrings or a nicer pendant for work...

I like watches.

I love my Titus watch (I love collecting watches) but it's kinda getting cranky after 6 years of usage. Battery life is a pathetic 1-year. However, this is definitely not a priority cos I already have a DKNY one standing by..

Of cos, I got my way to get supersaver deals for my indulgence. No mis-spending and only value-added stuffs.

Oh sian, forgot about the camera... anyway, I am loving my iPod now! Thanks dearrrie :)

Hi, just came back from harry potter. I have never liked watching movies (by itself) but I like the idea of couples watching movies tgt. It's good 'couch' time :) This is probably why I can't recall when's the last time I watched movie with my girlfriends. Was it Shrek with you, yx? So... I guess it would be hard for friends to ask me out for a movie unless it's BATMAN... Anyway, since my only source of enjoyment is the dating feeling, few movies get my good ratings - because I simply get bored easily. Most movies are it's-okay, not-too-bad etc... As for today and unfortunately, it was a terrible show....I couldn't wait for the lights to turn on and upon the moment it did, I was like 'huh, what the?'

Checked out F200 price at South Asia, Funan. To my disappointment, it's quite bulky and ugly looking except for it's functions. $476 including many accessories which is the best offering spotted as of now. But I can wait.

Heh kenny dearrie bought me a surprise graduation gift! Not enthu at all with Apple products but since I have it now, I shall treat it as a token of our love! Yay! Thanks dearr~

It's contradicting but I am a lil looking forward to my work starting next week. Cos, I seriously have rested enough - Toured europe for close to a month, had romantic holiday with dearr at phuket, bonus kukup, slept more than enough everyday, watched some shows, cash output with ZERO input, repeating meetups with friends etc - it's time to earn and get ready for my next phase in life.

Hopefully, I am luckier this time.

Finally did a projected income statement for the coming 6 months of temporary work. I have set very realistic targets to meet this year. Sadly, the amount which I can save after all the killer expenses is lesser than expected :( But, on a happier note, I am bringing my mum to Beijing!

Oh and $400 would be set aside for my camera. WoOhs I was at Chinatown last wk and popped by a random shop to ask for F200's price. They are selling at $460 with room for bargaining! This means that in 2-3 months' time, I can get it at $420 max (below standard price for a gd camera i think)? Hopefully....$400... y spend so much on a camera?! ...Love taking photographs and this technology can support my interest...somemore it's time tt I contribute to the family camera.

And oh no, I am starting my temp job in 2 weeks' time.... I am getting a lil upset :(

Oh hi yes, I was at 'The Kangxi Emperor' exhibition (Asian Civilisation Museum). Had always wanted to visit it since March. So tada~ finally got to see it before it ends this month! (Btw, $4 only, bring your passion/student card) Anyway, not too bad but kinda small scale....

I went ktv today (sorry dearr! go with you this wk k?), which is like my 2nd time this year? What happened to all my kbox cravings.. BUT because of today, I found back wonderful memories of childhood (primary school)! Sang songs of MLTR, A1, M2M and SPEED!! SPEED was definitely my favourite of all the favourites at that time haha (Jpop). I'm amazed that I still rmb some of the lyrics. And hence the post for tonight!

I LOVE SPEED!

Went to youtube and found one of their latest videos (2009/08 version). OMG~ this is really like the revival of SPEED. The feel and the dance steps are exactly the same as the 1998 version! Except, their voices are more powerful now. Goss, I miss them so much! This video shows all of my favourite songs of SPEED (White love, alive, all my true love, steady, my graduation and body&soul!) I'm singing with them now, yes NOW!

And SPEED in 2003, they have changed some of the dance steps in front until I can't keep up with any!! (Yes, last time I dance and sing with them in front of my tv). Oh so excited now, i'm going to rip my SPEED CDs into mp3 now!

Speed sold 3.04 million units of their greatest hits album "Moment" in Asia, 1999. Each of their previous singles also hit million sales tt kind. Goss, I didn't know album sales can hit million one at that time.

Once again, yet another problem at home caused by none other than my good-for-nothing father. I'm so darn grateful to him that he only lost a few thousands in his idiot stocks. Compared to the previous times, this is so minor - I should thank heaven because we no longer have a bungalow or shophouse to settle these debts. But it's good. Any excess cash would have been spent off by him anyway - idiot.

I am still waiting for the day he can come to his senses and realise his stupidity. A person, with merely secondary school education, hoping to earn millions out of stocks? You must be kidding me. Not a single time have you contributed to the family with your bare hands. NEVER. You gambled off every single cent of money grandpa left behind. We have been living our past with grandpa's money, none from yours. Because of you, we scrimp and save everyday. And I dare not think of going overseas/buy my favourite things/eat my favourite food until I gradually had the ability to work myself. But well, he always thinks he is smart. I guess, he is really smart in ending up with nothing. What a joke.

He is a monster. He not only gambles, he is unrealistic (thinking that playing stocks can shower him with wealth), violent and unfilial. I really pity him. Cos everytime, he ends up with nothing - but good heaven still allows him to have his wife and children with him. My brother and I are 100% supportive of taking my mum away from this monster but sometimes, and due to some stupid circumstances, we still stay on. Aren't we great people?

Talking about divorces, my cousins are also victims of failed marriages. They did not marry a good man. I feel upset for them and for their young children especially because I have been through it myself. Maybe I am worse? cos this mental torture has been with me since young (and up till today)... For my two young nephew/niece, both dads abandoned their mums. But at least their dad leaves them before harsh memories of their parents' quarrels/problems/fights form in them. Who are to blame for such problems? Parents. My cousins married men whom they did not understand. One was a man of few words and they were only together for awhile before going into marriage. The other was a rich man and that explains all. People say it is difficult to tell whether the man you are marrying is the right person. This is true but I feel that 90% is in our own hands and 10% is luck. Luck meaning, for if the guy goes astray for no reasons (中邪 or other unexplained circumstances on top of the 90% fulfiled). 90% being from day one you start off with the guy..his actions, behaviour, habits, his family background, how he treats you and your family, how he handles situations, how he behaves at home, tidiness of his room, table manners, financial planning... All these can be tested before considering marriage. If not you are just suay (bad luck). That is why I believe that all women should be responsible for the man they choose to be with and be responsible to your children. We all have a choice, and the responsibility for our own actions.

Anyway, I always tell myself to be VERY strong. I must not show my sorrows, I must not give up. But in actual fact, I am fearful. The europe trip was just a temporary escape from reality. I went on the trip thinking that I deserve a moment of peace for once in my life and my parents' problem should never be mine. I was wrong, every single time when I am out there looking at how beautiful the other side of the world is, I fear. I worry for my mum, my brother and my grandma. Let alone how much I miss kenny. Every single cent I spend there, I fear. Because my mum might need my support. But the trip isn't mine alone, and I know I can be strong because I always tell myself that I am not the least fortunate in this world (think about people in africa, think about families stricken with illness..)although i really envy some of my friends with good families..enough cash..good degree..job etc. I tell myself that I am fortunate because I have my mum, my brother, my kenny and great friends.

I always say I am very suay. When I am fed up, I attribute it to suayness. But when I am calm, I feel that these are all a kind of give-and-take. Hence, I really cherish my good bf and brother. They are all that I have..now.

Have I mentioned before how much I hate my parents. I feel that even orphans are happier than me. And it's a tragedy that I end up in this 'Loh' family. I probably committed a huge sin last life.

I hate feelings. Because of feelings, I am left with no choice but to care for them. And because I believe in doing good and whatever retribution theory, I must repay their 'kindness'. If I disown them, I have failed as a daughter and gave up the chance that heaven gave me to reborn. Sounds so spiritual...but ya.

However, before I decide to 'forgive' them, I must say why I hate them. Firstly, the entire 'Loh' family's sons are really a bunch of good-for-nothing-and-heartless people. They only care about my grandma's assets and not at all filial. They only know how to say how great/smart they are (come on', that's grandpa's money) and attribute failures to anybody but themselves. They have always been rude to my grandma and everytime they come to my house to 'pray' to grandpa (whose alter's at my house), I know they are just staging a show (what a joke). If not for my grandma, I wouldn't bother to even say 'hello, how are you'. You can say, I don't like hypocrites and heartless people. That's why I pity my grandma. She has 10 children and none of the sons are good (maybe excluding my godfather who has been living with her all these while). But I want to thank them for giving me all the chances to do good and be filial to my grandma (even though it's out of willingness). Ha the funniest thing is, when my grandma praises me and my brother (we both have always been labelled as her '宝贵孙子')in front of her sons, they will always say my grandma is showing favouritism and will then link to the distribution of assets issue (apparently my dad got a larger piece of land). What a joke right? But heaven is fair and that's why my retribution theory holds, I think my grandpa (at home) is blessing me and my brother with some intelligence (cos all the other good-for-nothing sons' children can't study) and some good things (like kenny and maythu? Ha i'm not sure). Although, I have never talked back to those good-for-nothing sons, I tell my grandma to just forget about them and let me and my brother do what her sons have failed to do. If I have a chance to see them being rude to my grandma again, I will not hesitate to 'chant' (yx says I nag thou) all the dao4 li3 at them. However, because　Ｉbelieve in doing good, I will still talk to them tactfully and show some form of respect. Sometimes I do wow at my sense of tolerance.

All right, enough of those good-for-nothing sons, back to my parents. I hate them because they have failed their responsibility as good parents (apart from giving me allowance although the money is rightfully my grandpa's). Everytime they quarrel, they only think of themselves and let me and my brother worry. My dad is also good-for-nothing, only know how to use force, refuse to talk about his wrongdoings, dare not to face up to responsibility, foul temper,　不务正业，gambling addict etc. I think he is really a failed product of heaven's graciousness. For my mum, although she's a victim of everything, I can only say some of the things she does aren't correct too. That's not the way to handle your marriage.

Well, perhaps you won't understand how much torment I have been through for the past two decades, but I still want to thank them for carving out such a strong me. And making me realise how to better handle my own family in future, allowing me to see other people's misdeed such that I will never follow their footsteps. I am very calm now and I feel happy about my graduation because I can finally be independent. With some financial independence, I can take fully responsibility of my path in life. I will definitely work hard for my future because I know money will never drop down from the sky (not like some people, land can drop down from the sky..but in the end also good-for-nothing). I will not marry anyone blindly (unfortunately, my mum did). A man has to be of upright character as the basis. No character, no talk. Then I will treat my husband-to-be with respect, encourage open communication, genuine care and support for each other (maybe, sometimes I'm too naggy, but I know I must and will control). I will not quarrel in front of my children because I have suffered myself. Instead, I think quarreling doesn't solve the problem. Open communication and some nagging probably does (?). However, I won't let my children have such smooth life. I want them to understand hardships, the need to do good and respect for parents. I will probably be the 'bad' mum in their eyes but I know how to exercise flexibility in bringing them up.

What a long entry... but i feel better saying them out.

All the best to me and my life k! Like what my dear friends say, my suay-ness have to and will come to an end. I'm certainly looking forward to that day.

Realised that I haven't been talking much about my grad trip. It's on! 1st of May and I will be away for 24 days. Oh no.. I will definitely miss my mum, kor, granny and kenny dearrie..

Anyway, the red line shows the route of Exciting Europe 2009. The pink line shows a proposed Exciting Europe II to be accomplished by 2012 lol (so as to enjoy youth rates on trains).

I am really excited about the trip as I have never travelled so far before! Almost ready for the trip with just a few more things to be booked for Scotland. As for the travel necessities, I will have a week after my exams to settle em' all!

Haa just heard from my brother whose friend is going to Japan/HK for grad trip with a return airfare of just $600! I love travelling and my wish is to conquer Korea/Taiwan (with ken?), Europe/US (with friends), Japan (with mum & auntie?), China (with yuemu?) and probably HK again within the next 3-4 years! I shall work hard, save hard and plan ahead for the future (not only for my travel sprees but also the 'future' like family, house, child's edu etc)!

OH is that for me?!?!? hahaha we came across this shop that sells vday presents. So expensive! Can eat sashimi x 4 plates.

Me and kenny dearrie had our 3rd vday dinner at MOF, one of my favourite jap restaurants.
Before that, we went to Queensway to get my pair of Adidas sneakers! My choice pair didn't have my size. So I had to settle for a shiny black striped midiru 2 series. There was another gold one which caught my eye but ken says it's too hiphop for me le lol. Anyway, I am really happy to have a pair of sneakers again! Shall wear it for europe! (my 2 pairs of converse/reebok sneakers were stolen by ah nehs 3 years ago) Thank you dearrie!

Went out with Kenny dearrie on Christmas Eve! Heh it's our 3rd xmas tgt~ Saw a lot of people wearing this tiny xmas hat so I bought one for myself too! We didn't have a very good dinner (at suki sushi) but we had a great time tgt! After that, off I met my MS peeps for supper (Geylang durian + Rochor Tauhui!). Phew...it was raining and I was stucked outside Orchard MRT for 15mins. Heh see photos!

I went back school yesterday for dhsco's 团员大会!
This is the place where all my fond memories were, the place where I loved my cca, my friends! The new 德明 has a new canteen, hall, sports complex and classrooms to hold 6 levels of students. Wow, I wonder what could have happened if i had spent my JC years there. I think I will just go crazier with xinmei. Haa how nice to be back home again =)

5 Dec: A visit to the Singapore Zoo!

The Zoo hasn't changed much from the last time I went (with mj, yx, yin, hm, vinc!). The Kid's World (where all the lil chicks were) has been converted into some Adventure World with more or less the same setting (children's pool etc). There weren't many animals in each enclosure... all sleeping? or passed away like ah meng? hmm.. anyway, $18 is a bit too steep for that few animals. I thought it was $10 the last time? Heh see pictures lah~

Sometimes I am just too lazy to pen down my thoughts cos afterall, it's a 1-way effect. There are things I want to say out but I know, I am the root to the problem and no one can help me.

It's terrible when you have been through so much..and when you arrive at your final destination, you realise that you didn't bring the right key.. A wasted trip, an opportunity lost.

I always tell myself that 'It's okay, try harder next time'.. sometimes I wonder if heaven's kidding me. I get so lucky and suay altogether. Yet there are people who have a lifetime of smoothsailing pathway.

Nvm, I am supposed to be determined as it is the only thing I have now.

A friend of mine recently reminded me. Everyone is unique. Hence, I should believe that I am special too.

To an extent, I can't wait to graduate and start all over again. New goals, new path.
I just don't enjoy tertiary education.

I want to travel as long and as far as I can.

Hi all! I went cycling again. This time at East Coast Park. A good exercise after being stucked in office doing nothing constructive for the week. Hai, I really don't know what expectations to set for myself at work! Hope things will run more smoothly next week. Give me something to do! But not IT stuff k!

It is the 9th again.

But today I feel a bit 心痛. I realised that for the past sem, we haven't been celebrating the 9th due to school work. His workload is worse than mine this sem, considering that he had to stay up in school till 2-3am for that 2 weeks before exam period.. Plus this week.. whole week in school working on some mouse till 2am..

For the past few days I have been sms-ing him only cos I don't want to disturb him with calls/meet-ups. Just now, when I msg him 'Happy 1 + 8', my heart ached and eyes abit teary when I typed that sms because he's still suffering in school now.. ya now.. 2am.. And I believe he will continue working till dawn.

I just feel like blogging tonight.

Exams are over. But my internship starts next week.
And my dearr kenny is busy with his project due this week. Plus reservice in 2 weeks' time?!

Anyway, recently we MS! have been talking a lot about jojo. Well, quite a potential guy for my dearr MS but too many question marks! -- KIV and maintain optimism k!

So i finally got to know this jojo person during the Labour Day dinner with my MSes. Ha plus this short msn yesterday where he 夸 my dearr kenny noe.. saying that he never loses his temper. Well, that's very true! After a near 2 years, I think my heart knows and understand what kind of guy he is. Perhaps to ppl around me, he might not be the perfect one. And the fact that sometimes I do voice out my opinion of him. But, everytime I turn back and see carefully among all the eligible guys around me, he is always so outstanding and charms me in his unique way. I think all girls like ppl to 夸 their bfs or something which makes them happy for a few seconds. But i think jo's remark made me think really hard that this character of kenny is really hard to find. Together with all the lil lil things he does everytime, being caring and understanding, gives me security, homely person...and many others which are hard to describe. I can only say he is worth the time and all the updating of numbers...strong and still counting [646:628:607]

Anyway a month has passed since school reopened! Yes, I am busy! But not as busy as last sem (i hope). At least i get to do some online shopping~ heh a lil addicted to it but i get really good deals. There are like 3 spree organisers living in my hall and hence the discounts =) But i have yet found a suitable new year blouse to go with~ Enough of shades of black, dark blue and browns.. and bags! I have been spending a lot... goss and ouch! Luckily, my bdae angbaos did compensate a lil.

Oh ya~ talking about my bdae. Yes, I am 21. Looking at those pictures of distant friends holding their parties, it seems that I have missed out a lot. But I really enjoyed my time with the lil gatherings i had with dear friends! Oh ya, i think i received enough presents! Ha..as compared to previous years:

I have been watching angela's concert. Yup so far 3 times. I feel very inspired every time i hear her sing. She is really very good. Are you coming to sgp?

There was this violinist on stage that looked very charming when he performed. He wrote quite a lot of songs for singers. His name is called 阿滚. Now, I think that guys can add points to themselves by playing a violin (suavely). I'm personally very impressed with guys who know how to play piano or cello. Now violin adds to the list! Ha i don't like wind instruments. Pls don't play a recorder or trumpet. Haha. String instruments more seh =)

Hi everyone! I just came back from my 2-day charity event @ East Point Mall. This event is to raise funds for Children's Cancer Foundation. So those of you who bought collar pins from me, thank you so much for your generosity! Anyway, I had fun these 2 days (busy though) at the event. I enjoyed the photo-taking! We had printers, cameras and photo papers sponsored by Canon. So it was endless taking and printing and taking and printing. Let's take a look at some of the photos!

Just came back from hall camp. Feeling quite sian now. Partly because school is commencing. Partly because of the stupid hall system that is giving each and every one of us so much inconvenience (be it those who got halls or rejected). Well, as long I get a quiet and neat roomie, I don't mind anyone.

Back to hall camp. It was fun but not as fun being a freshie myself last year. Our hard work has paid off! Actually, I didn't do much. Ken did the most! Sorry, I guess I was too tired during camp.. some words that I said might not be nice.. I'm sorry... I didn't mean it.

The purpose of today's trip to the market is to get stuff for my orientation camp (like paints and masking tapes). However, **thunder** I ended up in a spectacle shop! And I bought a new pair of specs! That cost me $100. Ouch, it hurts. I had a $20 off already. But the more shocking thing was...the original degree of my right eye was 270.. For many years i thought my both eyes were 'healthy' below 200. Anyway, there was an increase of 50. That makes my right eye at 320 degrees... sobz! My left eye maintained at 150 with an astigmatism of 200 for both. Argh... was it because of my already unsuitable specs.. I knew my specs had problem yet didn't want to change since early last year. Hai hai hai..

Well.. I still cooked my cereal prawns today. Tada~ I feel that the cereal isn't aromatic enough. More butter and sugar next time!

Today I met up with huimin, minyan, eric and mj to celeb yuexin's belated bdae. It was a whole new experience for all of us. We were at an ulu alley in red geylang! Well done! Good job everybody! Haa we had a fuss over 'good job' and 'boob job' & 'XX job'.. rather entertaining.. Anyway why were we at geylang? We went there for tauhui and youtiao. Before that we were at Wheelock for dinner. Ha mj wanted to leave without eric cos he was eating ice cream. That was hilarious too. Imagine eric chasing after the car in orchard. Anyway, study group outings never fail to make me laugh my way through plus some 'educational' information from the army guys. Heheh see pictures lah. Oh that reminds me.. my bro just bought the so-called voted best digital camera in the market - 8.3 mp fuijiflim finepix. Lol I can use it for ndp le cos it's night mode is really good.

Today I went shopping with yuexin. Met Minyan along the way also as she was working at Taka. She could have joined us if not for her work. Today's shopping mood was so-so only. We bought shoes and a new earphone for myself. This is because I had to use the HMV voucher by end of this month and I do not have a proper earphone. I shall use it for my lappie for now since I don't have a mp3 player (Should be getting one after graduation? Or 21st bdae? heh). It's quite pretty btw:

My audio technica earphones (ear plugs kind, silver-white in color) came with a nice case.

I wished my holidays were without camp & event preparations.
I wished my holidays were just family, friends and kenny.

I spent my Friday and Saturday in school doing some filming. Next week I would be back there again painting banners. Yawns.. What a way to spend my hols.. Yes with only 2 more weeks to go.. Sobs.. I haven't gone to the zoo and kbox with ken.. and our so many holiday plans..all not done. However, at least my relationship with him has come to light and is accepted by both of our families. It's a wonderful feeling. I'm starting to ponder about life in his family.. helping out in the kitchen.. learning new dishes!.. shopping with his zehzeh.. going on a overseas trip.. But on the other hand, I feel that I haven't been doing well as a gf to him as compared to the past. He says that it is because our relationship has developed to another stage.. knowing each other better hence some things tend to be forgotten/wouldn't be minded. Even if that's the case, I can't seem to convince myself. I feel that there's definitely some areas I haven't done well. Ken, on the other hand, treats me really very very well.. unlike myself, I do pms sometimes. I always thought I won't have problems treating my bf well as I'm belong to those very giving type of girls.. willing to sacrifice for anything.. But now i realise, I'm not that great afterall.. not very good with my control of emotions.
Also, now that my mum knows about ken (and sings praises of him so frequently), I need to consider her feelings. I have to balance my time well between relationship and family. I hope I am able to strike a balance in that area. Well.. ha seems that I'm worrying too much yah? I believe it will all be fine =) Trust, faith & committment - I remember.

Back to school work, I still have another charity event coming up.. busy busy busy! However amidst those woes, I still gain satisfaction from shopping. Got to check my accounts now..

Last week, I was at bro's award ceremony. Haa the performance was quite stupid..very long address by minister teo.. but nice reception.

Last Sunday, I had a great day too with Ken & friends. We were at Settlers. Followed by dinner at Manhatten's and some Japanese Azabo (not sure how to spell) ice cream which was good! Hee and also a nice walk down Boat Quay..

Yes so what happened during the time I went missing here..

Anyway, sweet 20 to both of them.

And the most impt thing that happened to me was I visited ken's house on 24 Jun. Heheh since I'm quite likable..so obviously I passed with flying colours. Just kidding.. I was fortunate to be able to communicate with his family well (They speak dialect @ home). Things went rather smoothly although the trip to Balestier Tau Sar Piah Shop was hot and tedious. I had a great time and hope for a bright future for ken and myself. heheh happy!

Now it's time for him to take on the other challenge! Welcome to Bedok~

Oh yes.. I think I've overspent this month.. time to do some accounting/planning again when my pay comes in. Got 3 impt ppl to treat.. plus some reasonable spending during this GSS period. I was really happy with my Mango buys cos I bought quality stuff @ half price.

About work...

Haa talking about my 2 colleagues who went on study leaves in June. Yes, I had a 'great' time on my own. I was so busy that I didn't have time to go toilet or take a sip of water. However, it was then that i learnt the most and within the shortest period of time. And not forgetting being 'said' by my supervisor for some mistakes made. Lala.. not that i felt sad over it but I was really ignorant about many things at that time (Just started work 2 wks before that). Nevertheless, i was glad that i went through all those..being on my own as an accountant. Time passed very fast too!

Anyway, I officially ended work @ FEO last Friday. I would say it's a worthwhile experience..coming into contact with accounting stuff..not forgetting the good money too. My 2 colleagues also treated me very well. They even gave me a farewell gift. Haa but I hope i won't end up working in that type of organisational culture in future.

Went out with my pipa meiz! It has been a long time and we are complete once again! Kayan is back from Hong Kong. Hee as usual, we always do stupid things like suaning carol... talk about our past.. haha and one more to add: xiaojun's car went round and round the Fountain of Wealth simply because we did not know which exit leads to ECP! The day ended with supper at Kembangan. What a long but happy day.

I finally went to develop my photos once again after the blooper last week where i forgot to bring my disc. BUT you wouldn't have guessed what happened this week. Yes, i remembered to bring my disc. BUT I left the disc at the shop after developing!!! Argh.... my cdrw... Got scolded by my brother for being so stupid. Well, we had a good laugh over it too. Hee nice pictures!!! Why must a 5R photo cost the same as my 2R (wallet size) photo @ $1 each... while a standard 4R one costs 25 cents! A hole in my pocket.. back to eating grass.

oooOOo...there's a lot of things that i want to buy... Glad that i'm doing something relevant and I can hear some chingching! Argh...hall activities... Not going to join so many things next year le!

'Coincidentally', kenny came to pick me up after work just now. I was really happy to see him after a long one week! Though we only saw each other for 3 hrs.. Sometimes, holidays are bad.

Hi everyone. It has been 2 days since i started work at FEO. Yesterday was totally a brainless day. All i did was non-stop filing..ya the whole day till this morning. Okie perhaps i do need some 'brain' to ensure that they are in order. But that's not the way to use a brain! Haaa. Fortunately, things got better after lunch (today). A nice colleague of mine, Alvina, taught me how to do billing (we call them payment vouchers). I am excited about what I have learnt today and i think i like what I am doing. If this carries on and i don't get sick of it, that means I like being an accountant! Hmm.. we shall see, guess I haven't seen enough of this real world.

Okie work did not start very well yesterday (besides doing brainless job). I forgot to bring my bank book (I swear I heard that HR lady say 'bring your account no.) and transcript (which I thought was testimonials hence i brought the wrong one today again). I guess she has a bad impression of me already (but it doesn't bother me too much). The whole Accounts Department is very 'cold'.. There's not much intra-department interaction. My friends and I are all in different teams but we do more or less the same things. I sort of heard from my colleague that my team mainly deals with actual payment so I guess that's accounts payable section?
Hai.. the cold corporate world.. Is that the same everywhere? My friend yuexin is going to take over Big 4 and convert to Big One. I shall count on her and we shall create an organisational culture that is humane. No brainless kid and walking zombies in office k! Smiling is a must and no fork tongues allowed.

Lol... back last week on Saturday, i made a blooper. I happily brought an empty cd case to develop my digiprints. I was so kek..cos i went all the way down to Parkway for that 25 cent per piece offer. Boo..

Blah, i had nice nice Katong laksa yesterday with ken and dejie (after a tiring morning of job searching). Thanks to my Ah Gong and yx no doubt, I will be working at Far East Organisation as an Accounts Assistant. (ha the one which i sent my resume last week..) Very glad that i got this job cos i realised that i was not shortlisted for the Lasalle job which the agent recommended. Finally, i see some luck in my life. Hope everything goes well for work next week. =)

Haa back to katong laksa. After a good lunch, we headed down to Katong Shopping Centre for Ktv. I had a nice steamboat dinner with ken to celeb our Xth month. Heee sweet sweet happy..

Okie time to shop for some formal clothes... time to start work ... Hee gd and bad feelings as usual. Take care everybody!

Haa so what have i been doing for the past 2 days? On Sunday, i met some of my fellow zhiweis for board gaming at Settlers. It was enjoyable but a little too expensive (well... it's weekend). Ha so it's back to childhood times where we go ugly ugly ugly.. and madness over doctor lucky.

I was quite moody on Monday (probably due to the hot weather). Also realised that most of my friends have started work or found jobs. Argh.. really hate to start work but feel pressured to look for one soon. Siann.. Anyway, i'm going for a job interview tmr. Hope everything turns out well. Am i risking my future for not doing something of relevance to my course of study? Ok, i will convince myself that my choice today won't jeopardize my future. That means i must perform well for my Professional Attachment next year.

Lala.. i played badminton today with ken, dejie, sims and his cousin. It has been a long long time since i last exercised. I would love to go swimming soon (esp when the weather is so hot). Anyway, i enjoyed my day~ Playing some sports is good.. but being with hrmph hrmph is what makes everything happy =) OHoh i like that bean game too!

Yeaaa, ken finally finished his exams yesterday and that marks the beginning of my hols! We headed down to marina square for Spiderman 3 which turned out to be a great disappointment. It was quite draggy and the sound system was bad. Nvm about that, i enjoy every single moment with him, be it a lousy movie or just having to wash cups, buy meals for the past few days. I like being with the man i love.

This morning i had a bad stomachache... Guess it was some food poisoning.. But it made me realise a lot of things.. the big picture.. Accept him as who he is as afterall, i'm the most fortunate girl. He is a good man.

Yea hols are here! I'm going to make good use of my long break to catch up with friends and relatives.. learn more cooking.. shopping with my mama... and patuo with my golden pig!

Today, i met up with yuexin, huimin, jiayi, jiayin, mingjie and vincent! Firstly, we had 5 hours of non-stop kbox, with jiayi and yx battling against each other on some 感情上的问题.. Not very sure wat exactly happened. I just know they had a great time. Ha followed by dinner at Changing Appetites..and crapping session! Haha i realised that we have known one another for at least 6 years or even longer. Glad that we can still crap and rmb the good old jokes back in upper secondary school times. I believe in 10 years time, we will still crap about the same things. How nice! Here are my wonderful friends~

Hello everyone, i'm back. Don't really have much post-exam happiness. Quite numbed. In fact, more problems coming my way. haa like..whether to find a job, apply for intersem.. go on a hol.. Sobz my hk trip like cmi le due to some reasons. Nvm, quite happy to save the air ticket for something more material.

Yesterday i went to watch '200 Pounds Beauty', a korean movie, which is quite nice and touching.
Today i went to Granny's house for dinner.. shopped around Bedok as usual and got myself a new moisturizer.

I have been so busy over the past few weeks that i hardly had time to blog. Projects, presentations, tutorials, hall activities... Finally, they have come to a stop for the time being (a short, self-declared one)..

Anyway, here's a recap of my jan-feb happenings!

14 Feb
For nineteen years, i spent this day alone. This year, i have him. Although lessons ended late (730pm) and i had to study for 2 quizzes the following day, i feel happy just having him beside me as we catch a simple tabao-ed dinner tgt in hall. No great gifts or posh dining..but can spend precious time tgt..simple simple. That's what i treasure. Cos it's you that matters k?

Also, big thanks to my friends and tutorial mates for the chocs and sweets! Happy friendship day~ Hai, uni and sec-jc are just so different. I had loads of fun on vday back in schools. Angel and mortals..activities..be-yourself-day.. I don't want to grow old..

Happy twenty to me. Thanks everyone for making my day though it doesn't really feel very good hitting twenty heee. Btw, next time can don't put my age on the cake. Lol.. Anyway, i'm really fortunate to have friends, family and a special person to celebrate this day for me. Also, my wonderful study group frens who never fail to celebrate with me every year..and the sms wishes from you guys. Thanks! It feels good spending this day with loved ones..once again simple simple, i like!

Today I had sweet noodles with red eggs for lunch! I have always loved them. Mum made yam paste too~ Surely, she has improved a lot from the last time.. haa. Later in the evening, i`ll be going granny's house for another sumptuous meal. Everyone is so nice to me!

Approaching twenty years of age, i feel that i haven't treated the people around me as well as i could. Actually, my family problem isn't that big after all after talking to kor last night. Hence, i should forget the unhappy things, cherish what I have now and be more sensible. I just want granny, mum, dad, godfather and kor to be happy and healthy. I want to spend more time with them..
Fate. it can't be put into words. But please don't take them away from me. I still have a lot of things left undone.

My last entry for the year. Hmm, somehow i hate to welcome 2007 because it signals the start of school. I (still) hate studying. Also, it means that i'm turning 2*! Oh that '2' irks! Nvm about all these cos they aren't avoidable. I should be thankful because 2006 was more or less a fruitful year for me partly due to the 8-month break i had. I managed to find time to do some things of interest, go holidaying with friends for the first time, experience working life and most importantly i felt more like a grown up! Also, university life commenced, with all the fun in orientation camp, making new friends, hall.. Looking back, i wished i had more time or made even better use of my nineteenth year of life.

Hee my 19th bdae cake. Thanks! If not for my wonderful friends, i wouldn't have had cakes on birthdays cos my family won't buy one for me (I told them not to buy cos it's qt a waste of money). If i'm not wrong, i spent my actual day of bdae doing nothing.. Left work early with a headache.. sounds sad but i thot it's quite normal for me because i won't celebrate my bdae with parties or wat. Ha but how nice to be nineteen!

CNY... haa no nice picz hence i won't show. I do the same things every new year. Go granny's house for lunch followed by grandpa's. Mahjong and blackjack..non stop eat and drink.. hmm but this year a bit different, grandpa passed away shortly before new year..

Working at Meridea Suntec.. Aiya i realised that i have misplaced the pictures.. I had fun working with yan, jasmine and leo. Missed those slack and caipeng days..

Merry Christmas everyone!

My 19th Christmas was definitely the most memorable one so far. I had a great time with my wonderful friends and special someone.

On the eve, i went marina square with ken. We caught the movie 'eragon' which was quite disappointing. Nvm about that, we had a nice dinner at Dian Xiao Er followed by Haagen Daaz for supper. Wahha, chocolate niceeee!

It's indeed a special feeling to spend Christmas with someone special. Thanks for everything k?

Haa on Christmas day itself, we dhs 4f/dhsco/dhsco zhiwei/study gp met up at Jiayin's house. Amidst the cosiness of jyn's new home, we had endless laughters and craps. It's really back-to-the-good-old-days of Dunman. I miss that feeling.. Hope we can have such gatherings every Christmas =)

After 3 days of 'hard work', i finally cleaned up my room - my clothes, books and stuffz.
Here i present to you my room! (at the expense of my privacy)

I took some time to rearrange this cupboard. I shifted all my 'A' Levels stuff to the top left portion. (This was supposed to be done soon after 'A's but haha u know..) Don't intend to discard any of them cos every piece of paper is my hard work. Lol! I can't bear to throw away them yet, especially my physics bao bei! As for Econs and Maths, i probably need them in uni. Haa, and i still keep some of my secondary school stuffz. Who's know i'll be tutoring again next time.

The top right portion shows the handbags/backpacks/slingbag/sports bag which i seldom use. Hence i throw them up there.

The bottom right portion shows my stuff. Let me see..what do i have in there..

Wahha next, look at my clothes. Is that considered a lot? As compared to my friends, i feel that 我算少了. Anyway, 40% of my clothes are self-bought. The rest are from relatives. Still rmb last time, my cousins would pass clothes around..haa.. Now they still do, but i reject most of them.

I hang the tees/blouses/jeans that i like to wear.

I keep skirts/shorts/berms/capris/sleeveless/shirts that i wear often on the outside.
The rest like jackets, not-very-nice shirts and formal wears are kept on the inner portion of the shelves.

Quite a lot of things uhuh..but none of them are extremely costly. I don't splurge.

Haa something interesting to share! I digged out my past uniforms to wear~ I always keep a set for each school i attended. Unfortunately, i gave away my primary school's one already.

Haa some of you might not know, i was a TKGS (Tanjong Katong Girls' School) girl for like one day? I went for the orientation but straight after that i changed school. On 28 Dec 1999, i was admitted to DHS (Dunman High School), about 2 weeks later than other ppl. I missed the welcome session and I only got to know my class on the first day of sec 1. It was a devastating experience, having the need to change school and stuffz, but i ended where i really wanted to be fortunately.

WOohoo..i look young hor! DHS uniform is beautiful..and so is my CO badge which i wear with pride! Don't you think so? Little did i realise it back then in school. All i thot of was the fuss of putting on the metal buttons every nite before i slp and how not to be caught by Mr Kiw! Do you know by wearing like that, you are in danger of being caught..tuck out too much le.. (Yah...Kiw's rules are lidat). Hai, i was caught by him twice. I will never forget those terrible experiences! The first time was when a lil portion of my blouse was found untucked and for that i was marked down for my hair, socks..@#&*($. The second time was more/most infuriating..I was caught because my friend was looking at my photo album during assembly. For that, i had to stand at the parade square for 2 hours..listening to him crap..write apology letter.. I felt so wronged. I really hated him at that moment.. but we all know that DHS cannot do without Kiw..

Hai, I love DHS for the friends i acquainted there and my 华乐团.. Now they are tearing the school down..along with all my memories..my co room..my dazu/fenzu venues..my tables.. T_T

TJC here i come! Yea yea.. break free..break free from Kiw! I no longer worry about my attire cos im definitely 合格 man.. So easy after 4 years of training in DHS. Haa i altered my skirt so that it looks slightly shorter but still relatively long compared to other tjcians. Guai!

TJC uniform is quite pretty also especially the skirt! We are the only JC whose skirts have plates on the left side instead of some 'opening' in the center. It's very cosy. Haa and i never forget to wear my tie every Wednesday. Ah tong, you want to catch me also very difficult leh haa! Hmm, i do 怀念 the days i had in TJ cos it's simple school life. TJ was where i held new hopes for my studies..teachers whom i really love and respect....how i ran to school every morning just to tap card before 739am..my class 1304..

Hai.. if only i could combine TJ school life and DHS friends together. That would be perfect!

finally, a new pair of..

Jeans! Yea, i finally got a new pair of jeans after hmm...i don't even rmb when was the last time i bought one or maybe i have never bought one! Those i wore were mainly from cousins..so sad. You guys must be wondering how come huizhi seldom/never wears jeans. This is because she doesn't have a nice one. I attempted buying one at Levi's this August where i could get some 30% discount. The designs were pretty but, none of them could fit my legs. Kor kept saying there were too much cloth near the thighs. Aiya, no fitting ones..can't possibly get a size 24 and squeeze my bottoms out of it. Might as well get a cheap one from Bugis or wat. Tada~ and finally, today, i got a new pair of jeans! It isn't branded, it's not exactly tight fit, but at least it's a hipster, shapes my legs a lil, nice colour and it's comfy! Yea, can wear jeans liao, a change from the usual capris, shorts and skirts. However, i still love shorts & skirts the most.

Had lunch at Granny's place.
Tried 3G-ing with Kor. Hmm the front camera of my phone is not as good as Nokia's. But i still love my K800i cos of the improved functions (from my old K700i) & i can take nice pictures anytime, anywhere. 3 mega pixel or rather my Cybershot rocks~
Shopped around my neighbourhood (again). But i bought things leh!
I guess that is to compensate myself for not buying much (i swear i really didn't spend much during that period) during my 8 months break. But i really don't like the feeling of a high spending rate. Time to do some accounting..

Today, ken and i were at Orchard Road for the first time! We shopped around Heeren, Cine, Taka..
As usual, we bought nothing (good good, u 2 should save a bit). BUT we had Crystal Jade for dinner! (oh bad bad, u 2 should eat $2 chicken rice for the next 7 days).

Haa okay lah, in the end it turned out to be a v fulfilling meal. We had 2 xiao long baos, 1 shui jiao & 1 guo tie. Wah, taka 的就是不一样. The baos and jiaos were so much bigger, tastier & soupier than jp's! After dinner, we walked around and took some pictures!

Yuexin is my secondary school friend. She loves nature, especially butterflies. She is always amused at how fast they can flap their wings. As a nice, understanding & kind-hearted girl, she never stops attracting bees like g.r. (haha xin mei, u know who i referring to).

Oops i should stop.. I hear my phone ringing and it reads 'yuexinRocKs calling..' @&$*#(!

Ha just kidding, she's really a great friend of mine. I won't forget the days when we were seating partners and the stupid things we did with kis-mond and ming jit.

Anyway, today i was at Bedok Int with mum. Surprisingly, i managed to get a nice top from one of the shops.

Oops, guess i'm too tired after been out for the past 5 days. Got a lil bit cui during not-very-enthu-about-it shopping today at tm. Popped some panadol and continued shopping. The motive for today was to look for a nice top for tmr's wedding but.. i ended up buying 3 pairs of shoes, 2 bags, my long awaited kanebo's testimo & hmm..1 box of panadol actifast. Wah not-very-enthu still can buy so many things. I think it's quite a gd 'achievement' cos i have never bought that many things in a day b4. Oops. Nah i'm suppose to share those stuff with my mum.. she enticed me to buy em' all. I'm not a spendthrift..i'm not..ha i still take some time to think b4 flashing my card.

But there were quite a few things which i really felt like buying but my conscience got the better of me.. cannot buy so many things in a day! 罪过罪过! Nvm..i just need to tell myself that our dear jiayin buys more in a day/hour than me. Hahaz, just kidding lah. Well, i like that few tops i saw but either had no time to try or a bit ex. I still need quite a lot of things i realise.. oh no no & i have just stopped tuition.

Got to rest early tonight for my big day tmr (supposed be cousin's big day i thot?..but hee)!
